Another December evening, another wine tasting, hosted by Steve Nunn, ably assisted by his wife Christine. 40 odd members turned out for the chance to try 4 white wines and 4 reds, chosen by Steve over the last 12 months. The wines included a Mosel that Steve had brought back from his holiday in Germany, priced at 2.99 euros, per Litre, and very drinkable it was too. The highlight of the reds was certainly the French Chateau Petrabon 2002, a rare chance to taste a Claret of that age. After the tasting members were served sausage rolls, mince pies and coffee. The Christmas 200 Club draw was also held. A very successful evening.
